Biography

My earlier images were captured with medium format cameras such as a Mamiya RZ67 and Mamiya 6, or with a 4x5 large format Deardorf camera.   The images were exclusively black and white and were printed traditionally in the darkroom on Oriental Segall fiber based silver gelatin paper.

As digital photography started to evolve, I began scanning my negatives, converting them to digital files, and printed the images digitally on an Epson 1280 printer using watercolor type papers.  The next step in the evolution was printing images with an Epson 4000 printer using seven values of archival carbon inks on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag paper.

As the digital revolution continued, I began shooting with digital Canon SLR cameras, thus capturing images digitally.  Currently I am shooting more in color and printing on a Canon iPF6100.
